The CT Elementary School Shooting

The school shooting in Connecticut was a sad situation. It was a bad time where over 20 and many adults have been murdered in an elementary school. The shooter was a murderer and deserves no sympathy from me. I give him no respect. A murderer is a murderer. We should express concerns and prayers for the victims and their families. His mother taught Kindergarten. He committed suicide after he murdered innocent human beings. He’s coward by killing himself. That removes himself from taking public responsibility for their evil act or him experiencing real justice in this life. It is a horrific shooting. The brother President Barack Obama is correct to outline condolences about the evil murderous act made by one deranged individual. He said that the school teachers were heroes in expressing the function of their jobs by helping students. He spoke the words to the American people as a father. I do feel sadden by this situation and hurt, because children were killed. I don’t care if these children were black, white, or whatever. That was some sick occurrence that transpired in the 21st century. Certainly, we ought to have compassion for the victims and realize that life is precious in God’s eyes. The shooter murdered his own mother (who was a teacher) even. It all transpired in Newtown, Connecticut. Common sense rules should reign in society, but the extremists once again are in full force. Some of them or extremists are exploiting this tragedy as a means to promote banning guns at every circumstance. Other group of extremists wants the status quo to reamin without discussions, debates, or any other action to prevent such a tragedy from occurring in the future indeed. Many celebrity extremists want to ban weapons, but the statistics prove that radical gun control can never radically decrease crime. Only education, gun education, a war on poverty, mental health reform, gun safety programs, cultural reforms, and community development can accomplish the goal of decreasing the crime rate in the world. Hollywood is very hypocritical to talk about gun control when it glamorizes gun violence in their movies and TV shows all of the time. Also, many of them have bodyguards with guns to protect them. For example, since the assault weapons ban expired in September of 2004, murder and overall violent crime rates have declined. In 2003, the last full year before the law expired, the murder rate in the United States was 5.7 per 100,000 people. In 2011, the murder rate fell to 4.7 per 100,000 people. Gun-related homicide is falling as a record number of people buy firearms, not rising. Although, one death by a gun crime is one too many. In addition, Connecticut has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. The state is actually listed as 5th in the nation for gun control laws according to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Violence. Now, this tragedy should be taken seriously. Other policies ought to be made in preventing such murderous events, but you can ban all guns and crime will still exist. The liberal establishment says that gun violence is only rampant in America because of lax gun laws. They ignore mental health problems (this doesn’t mean that all folks with mental illness are more violent, so I want to make that clear, Folks with mental illness should never be scapegoated for this tradegy at all), socioeconomic problems, family issues and other issues that contribute to gun violence. Also, some places in America with some of the strictest gun laws still have crime issues. They fail to mention, however, that many countries with strict gun laws often experience mass shootings. For instance, 77 people were killed and more than a hundred injured last year in Norway in a mass shooting. Anders Behring Breivik’s rampage outside of Oslo was the worst mass murder rampage on record following the Second World War. It stands as an irrefutable testament to the fact that super strict gun laws don't prevent mass murder. Germany has some of the strictest gun control laws on record and yet it experienced three of the worst five multiple-victim K-12 public school shootings in the world in the past decade. That’s the smoking gun that we need real reforms when dealing with guns yes, but not some comprehensive total gun bans against innocent human beings. Despite the protests of celebrities and other vocal liberals, millions of Americans understand that owning and receiving training in the proper use of firearms is self-preservation and not a manifestation of a yahoo gun culture. The establishment knows full well that millions of patriotic Americans will never give up their guns at all. So, they can only use the law or confiscation if the government wants to ban all citizens to have guns. This doesn’t mean that everything is cool and that we need the status quo. More solutions include the strict banning of anyone who has a mental illness (by judicial means) or a person with a felony completely from owning a gun. We ought to promote federal funding for community intervention programs that can fight against violence or crime, have a war on poverty, end the War on Drugs, execute stronger programs to care for individuals with mental illness, a promotion of a more tolerable culture, create ways to better enforce laws, and have federal national gun education plus national gun safety programs in this nation. There are other solutions too from even new laws that deal comprehensively with this issue. We can’t be silent. We have to discuss this issue and if new laws are necessary, so be it. We shouldn’t be intimidated by any lobby when lives are being lost period.

Western societies are known for its oppression and systematic theft of lands, resources, etc. It is armed robbery that represents modern day laissez faire capitalism today. The decline in some quarters of the West is undeniably related to the massive economic exploitation, globalization, and other evils in the world today. Mainstream Western capitalism has failed as any credible scholar can attest to. The reason is that we still have recessions globally after the Western financial collapse and the Western real estate bubble of 2006 to 2007. By September 15, 2008, Lehman Brothers Wall Street investment bank could not be saved. The U.S. government admitted to sending over 10 trillion dollars to the Wall Street banks as a means to restore the economy to its pre-bubble burst configuration, but that has proved to be impossible. There has been talk of more showing of quantitative easing and new money creation in the world. Yet, the U.S. economy has weak full time job creation, retail sales, and manufacturing numbers in November 2012. This is related to the Eurozone. The western Capitalist professor named Milton Friedman taught economics at the University of Chicago in Business School from 1976 to 1977. Freidman believed that free markets were the best solution in growing economic development and have overall prosperity. The refutation of that argument is simple. For centuries, the U.S. economy or the American way of life have been created by stolen wealth, the theft of slaves, and stealing resources from nations globally. Colonization, international slavery, and imperialism built up the wealth of the West basically. These policies have been influenced by the U.S. military force as well. In the final analysis, unfettered capitalism doesn’t work. What works is an unique, mixed economy that fulfil the individual and collective needs of the people. Ayn Rand said that greed is good and the recession proved that philosophy wrong completely. Another of Rand's protégées, former Federal Reserve Board Chairman Alan Greenspan, said it nicely while testifying in front of Congress in late 2008: “I was wrong. I always believed that markets were self-regulating.” (He also then famously observed that the 2003 Iraqi invasion “was all about the oil”). These people were wrong in advancing laissez faire capitalism completely. Even Adam Smith was wrong to assume some invisible hand could regulate markets and keep the economic system optimally efficient in a good working order. Adam Smith was an apologist of the British Empire during the 18th century. If an economic system wants folks to look out for their own self-interests, then they could be free from any responsibility to restrain any of their actions. When you look at mainstream capitalism, it is not related to the Golden Rule at all. An unregulated capitalism wants to promote their self-interests above anyone else. It’s about the usage of capital above the communal wealth. Some people of many backgrounds embrace an extreme capitalist ethos, especially in Western society.  They are self-absorbed, they obsessed with me ism, embrace materialism, and they believe that corporations running everything is great for humanity (which is a lie). Some people want to blame Christianity for this wicked system. I don’t. The reason is that Christianity teaches about individual salvation yes, but it allows teachings against oppression against the poor. It teaches about group like religious bodies in the community and it teaches about treating your neighbor as yourself without greed, lust, and other economic exploitative qualities. Christianity doesn’t teach that no matter your lot, you should take accept it and strive for faith. Christianity teaches that people should have faith, but faith without works is dead. Therefore, we should have faith and be active to improve the conditions of society. One of the greatest heroes in history were Christians ending slavery, ending child labor, advancing the civil rights movement in the States, ending apartheid in the world, and fighting for real social justice. I don’t agree with forcing Christianity to people, but many other people other than false Christians used a distortion of religion or a murderous form of atheism (as opposed to peaceful atheists) as a means to conquer humanity from Stalin to Mao. You will notice that these haters of God never discuss about Stalin, Mao, the killings in Romania, or Pol Pot. Also, many Christians reject greed, imperialism, occupation, and other crimes. Not all Christians are monolithic. Mainstream, unfettered capitalism doesn’t have to do with real religion, but with a perversion of religion as a means to justify the evils of colonialism, apartheid, and any injustices in the world. The feudalism of the medieval period that exploited people was wrong including the Western militarist empire using war, conquest, and imperialism as a means to oppress mostly people of color in the world. I don’t agree with unfettered Capitalism, but I don’t agree with Communism either.

It isn’t just FOX News showing propaganda. CNN has promoted the austerity agenda for years. At least Christine Romans is more reasonable, but Carol Costello not only said that Romney made a good point about the 47 percent speech, but she agrees with austerity 100 percent. She has criticized Cory Booker’s challenge. Even Romans questions whether we want the government to help folks with poverty issues. We don’t need the starvation of about 46 million people who need food stamps to survive. We need to end the military industrial complex and end this war on terror completely. That I what we really need. According to Peter Edelman, a scholar specializing in the fields of poverty and government assistance programs (not to be confused with some elitist talking head on CNN); 6 million of them rely on food stamps as their only source of income. The mainstream media totally tries to ignore real issues. Even Bilderberger Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” film ignores the massive black presence in ending overt slavery in America (like Sojourner Truth, Martin Delany, Robert Smalls, Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglas, etc.). In the age of Euro-American world hegemony, we need to tell our own stories. We don’t need anyone else telling our own narratives about our own people. Regardless of what you think of Rob Parker’s controversial comments, reactionaries or their media complex (with folks like Hannity, Savage, Limbaugh, Beck, etc.) can say all manner of extremist rhetoric without suspension or reprimanded action. These people are now overtly taking the groves off and hating on society. Regardless of any individual says, you are still defined by your ethnic background. I wish it wasn’t so, but that’s reality. So, you might as well do the best that you can in your life for your God, for your family, for humanity, and for your people. See, CNN, FOX News, and MSNBC all advance the post racial, Grand Bargain (or the Grand Deception), etc. nonsense. All of these networks either support the White House nearly unconditionally or support reactionary propaganda nearly unconditionally. Now, we know that the US foreign policy position is abhorrent, because drone tracks is not about having a peace economy. That action relates to executing war economy. When you talk about drone attacks, Africom, and other real issues, the establishment (from the Left Paradigm) will falsely classify you as a hater. When you have tokens that benefit from the destruction of public housing communities in America, privatization of land, and other evils, then you have an issue here in the States. Even some phony preachers recruited families to accept subprime mortgages right up until the bubble burst. Even the NAACP has ties to financial predators like Wells Fargo. The establishment is wrong. That is why we as a people need to advocate a moratorium on foreclosures and evictions and other radical solutions to our complications. We need to not only do that. We need massive boycotts, protests, meetings, and activism in causing a massive infrastructure program (that can help rural and urban programs like building transit, have new housing, repair infrastructure, and have green technologies to help our nation). The police state is still here killing innocent men, women, and children (like the six year Sister Aiyanna from Detroit, Michigan. You can’t be a revolutionary when you back corporate interests. You can’t be a revolutionary when you facilitated the massacres in Rwanda. You can’t be a revolutionary when you tell Jeremy Glick to shut up for no reason whatsoever. Also, we critics did lift a finger to oppose Bush’s Iraq War and the 2000 voter disenfranchisement in Florida against black voters. We are consistent.

Infowars is silly once again. They are trying to take a comment made by Harry Belafonte (which I don’t agree with) as an excuse to say that progressives collectively want to strip rights and just throw everyone into jail basically. That is silly since people from across the political spectrum disagree with the President on some issues. People like me just don’t believe in slanderous charges against him like some in Infowars.com does (like calling him a Communist, saying that he wants to steal all guns from all citizens in America right now, and denying his citizenship in America). The truth is that President Barack Obama is not perfect, but he is still a very intelligent brother deserving of dignity and respect. So, they are not Independents or outside of the Left/Right Paradigm. They are nothing more than reactionary types that use populism as a means to gain more followers. They have a near cult like followers. They are right on some issues and dead wrong on immigrant rights, workers’ rights, and other basic human freedoms period. The common denominator among these folks is that they have a fetish in worshipping capitalism instead of critiquing capitalism. They falsely believe that criticizing the imperfections of capitalism (since no economic philosophy is 100 percent. I haven’t seen an economic philosophy in the world that is perfect). They also claim to be against corporate corruption, but they refuse to expose the evil system of white supremacy (which scholars have written about for decades) is some cardinal sin. You can’t have justice for people or justice or any other people for that matter without exposing white supremacy (which Webster Tarpley has discussed about. Ron Paul refused to give money back to known white supremacists). You can’t be a populist while wanting to preserve your own little privilege. Maintaining the destruction of the social safety net and allow the open market to handle the economy will cause the poor to suffer a huge lot of problems indeed including oppression. The agenda of people like Alex Jones is very similar to the Republicans (the difference is that Jones mixes populism with reactionary rhetoric). These individuals want the trickle benefits to the poor, they want to eliminate if they can all private forms of health care for the people since health care is a human right, they want to privatize education, end the minimum wage, and even reduce taxes on the wealthy. When you think about it and witness the anti-immigrant extremism and other lies, it is similar to fascism. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it’s a duck. Fascism readily comes in the face of radical anti-Communist paranoia including the love of Tea Party extremism. Alex Jones is stirring some folks in the right hand of the populist world. That is all the more reason for us to expose the War on Drugs, but realize that collective power isn’t evil at all. A shill will always try to justify the mainstream capitalism, which killed, rape, and assaulted millions of human beings throughout the Earth. It’s as simple as that. Real change can come with cooperatives, radical economic solutions, and a radical redistribution of political and economic power.

There is a recent Danske Bank commercial that talks about “A New Normal.” It describes an authoritarian society as the new normal. Until February 2012, Danske Bank was owned by the elite financier Peter Straarup (a member of the Trilateral Commission) and of the Bilderberg Group. The bank’s new commercial is called “A New Normal Demands New Standards.” It was odd and strange. The commercial describes a lot of item that describes the new normal in mainstream Western society. The commercial has information that talks about the police state, the repression or harm of free speech, transhumanism being pushed, and brainwashing children. These items correspond to the new world order agenda, because globalists want Big Brother, transhumanism, and other like-minded items to be pervasive in society. The commercial outlines a grim picture of the future. The commercial shows a person throwing a rock at police in riot gear. This isn’t normal at all. This relates to freedom or democracy falling apart. Later, thousands of Chinese workers are shown being cramped into a high tech, chemical sweat shop. This action outlines the bitter fruit of globalization. This isn’t normal at all. A man hits the police in riot gear with his umbrella. There even show an Occupy Wall Street activist covering his mouth with money. These items of course aren’t normal, but these items describe the motivations and intentions of many globalists or Western international elitists. What is normal is to fight against tyranny and to believe in justice for all of humanity. It is to embrace wisdom, truth, and tolerable actions that inspire not only Americans, but all peoples of the world. The commercial obviously also presents what the future could be under certain circumstances.
